For our regeneration project, we chose Hackney Wick, on the fringe of the Olympic development.
The proximity of the Olympic stadium is a constant source of amazement. The area is very quiet just now - very few local businesses, or even people on the streets. The traffic noises come from above or elsewhere - the highways that cut through the area. It feels quite peaceful down by the canal. But just you wait....
